The goal is to learn through doing. Doing and sharing ones subject knowledge with others. The SCA encourages historical research and recreation, and most importantly: preserving a code of conduct, mentality and philosophy that, in many ways, is lacking in the modern world.
The local chapter of "The Society for Creative
Anachronism, Inc." will be assisting us with the Summer Reading Program on Saturday, June 25th, from 11:00a.m.-2:00 p.m. They will have "stations" featuring different creative arts
inside the library and if it is not too hot, a fighter's demonstration outside
the library! See you there.
