CARL ILL Policy Change

We regret to inform you that the Combined Arms Research Library InterLibrary Loan services will no longer be filling requests made for textbooks.  This decision was made based on the limited availability of a majority of textbooks, the short lending periods and lack of renewals offered, and the costs associated for the CARL with borrowing these items.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Below are alternative resources for obtaining your textbook(s).

SwitchMyBooks (http://www.switchmybooks.com): Allows students to buy, sell, and trade textbooks directly with each other. The website is free to use by and for students.

CheapestTextbooks (http://www.cheapesttextbooks.com): An online bookstore specifically for comparing textbook costs associated with buying, selling, and renting a text.

Kno (http://www.kno.com): Offers high and low level educational texts available to rent or purchase as an e-textbook for your tablet or computer.

Amazon (http://www.amazon.com): An online bookstore offering a large range of texts available new, used, as rentals and e-books.

Chegg (http://www.chegg.com) and BookRenter (http://www.bookrenter.com): Available specifically for renting textbooks.
